Blur: Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

Blur is published by Aslan Tulegenov. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app.

Your photos and videos

Everything happens on your iPhone. Face and text detection, blurring and exporting all run on the device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, and nobody but you sees them.

You choose photos and videos with the system picker, so the app only gets the items you pick. Photo library permission is used only to save your edited result, and only if you allow it.

Data we collect

Blur has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your photos and videos are never part of any data we receive.

The only third-party service in the app is RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions. It receives a random identifier created for the app, your purchase history in the app, and technical details such as device model, app version, country and IP address. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Data stored on your device

The app keeps a small amount of settings on your device, such as how many exports you have made and whether a prompt was already shown. This stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your payment details. See Apple's privacy policy.

Keeping and deleting data

RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as they are needed to provide your subscription and meet legal and accounting duties. To ask for this data to be deleted, write to the address below. The identifier is random and not tied to your name, so we may ask you for a purchase receipt to find your record.

Children

Blur does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
